With the OEM no longer supporting the SINCGARS radio test set, Goodyear Electronics has pioneered a new concept in teaching practical troubleshooting of the AN/GRM-122. The students are asked to bring broken sets with them to the class for hands on troubleshooting of real-world problems that they will likely see again. The class also includes discussion of theory of operation and common problems. Goodyear Electronics currently offers training classes for US soldiers and DoD civilians.
